Land Considerations

I was speaking with a homeless couple the other day, and one thing which came up was the need for a "ride."

Without transportation, they can't look for work. This restriction means any land obtained for Charity Hill needs to be within a short walking distance from some form of inexpensive public transportation.

What types of 'scooters/bikes/???' are allowed on the streets? I'd suggest a public car/s, but a car has a higher chance of being vandalized. Unless they're parked near trustworthy homeless who can keep an eye on them. *shrugs* Perhaps charity Ubers? Of course, you can't call them Ubers ... you'll need to come up with a new name for drivers who are willing to drive around homeless people. The drivers would be paid by a charity.

What if the charity bought used vans or buses to transport the homeless from their living locations to the nearest bus stops?

The used vans/buses could be old school buses, or old 'Public/Patient Transit System' vans/buses. *shrugs*

I believe it is possible to find two to five-acre commercial lots available in most metropolitan areas.

I am going to use 2.5 acres as a "community planning" template.

Using a calculator I see the lot is about 300 ft by 365 ft in overall size.
